Boys 7-A-Side Football Competition
A mixture of ten boys from years 5 and 6 participated in the 'Year 5 and 6, 7-A-Side Football Competition' competing against a number of local schools I would like to say a huge well done to our year 5 and 6 boys, who participated in this event. Our fabulous students won their cup competition in a tense finally, that after having a goal disallowed and striking the cross bar, ended 0-0. Bravely a number of pupils put themselves forward to participate in a penalty shootout to decide the winners, which we managed to win 3-2. I would also like to add an extra special well done, as the sportsmanship, that our pupils showed was outstanding and well received by staff from other schools, who made comment on how we should be very proud of our pupils.
